«And why don't you make Hummus?» my husband asked one day, and my eyes rolled. I knew perfectly well that making the attempt would trigger the search for a recipe that would stay forever at home, especially because once made, tasted, and adjusted to our palate, there would be no turning back. There would be no more trips to the supermarket to buy a container of hummus.
And so, after trying three recipes different ones, I found this one which is the one we like the most.

- 1 lb of canned chickpeas
- 4 cloves of garlic crushed
- 5-6 tablespoons of tahini
- Olive oil
- 2/3 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/3 teaspoon of salt
