Ingredients
For the shrimp
- 700 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 taza harina
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Frying oil
Bang Bang Mango Sauce
- 1 mango ataulfo maduro
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 cda sriracha
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 cdita miel
- 1 pinch of salt
For decorating
- Cebollín picado
- Ajonjolí tostado
- Fresh cilantro
- Lemon wedges
Procedure
1. Preparar la salsa
always start with the sauce.

Mayonnaise
Sweet chili
Sriracha
Lemon
Honey
Salt
Blend until you get a completely silky sauce.

Store it in refrigeration.
2. Prepare the shrimp
Check that they are completely clean.
Dry them with paper towels.

Pass each shrimp through:

Egg
Panko
Press lightly.
We want an even coating.
5. Freír
Heat oil over medium-high heat.
When it's ready.
Fry the shrimp in batches.
Approximately 2 minutes per side.
Until a beautiful golden color is achieved.
Remove onto a wire rack. Not onto paper towels.
The rack keeps them crispy.
Lightly Coat
Here's the secret.
Don't drown them in sauce.
Place the shrimp in a bowl.
Add only a few tablespoons of sauce.
Mix gently.
We want them to remain crispy.
7. Montaje
Serve on a platter.
Add on top:
- More sauce drizzled
- Ajonjolí
- Cebollín
- Cilantro
Finish with lemon.
